What Life Admin stores, who else sees it, and how to get rid of it. Last reviewed 21 August 2026.

What is stored

Only what you type or forward. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixel and no third-party script — the app loads nothing from anyone else's server, which is enforced by its content-security policy rather than merely intended.

  • Your email address — to sign you in and to send the reminders to.
  • What you are tracking — the title, the type of obligation, the date it is due and how often it repeats.
  • Details you choose to add — the provider, policy or reference number, vehicle registration, passport number and what it costs. None of these are required — a reminder works with only a title and a date.
  • Notes, checklists and cost history — so that next year the app can tell you what you paid and what you decided last time.
  • Files you upload — policy documents and photographs, if you attach any. Private to your account.
  • Household members — if you share reminders with someone, they can see the reminders you shared and who shared them.
  • Your settings — timezone, what hour to send at, and whether you have paused notifications.

Who else sees it

These are the only parties your data reaches. Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared for anyone else's marketing.

  • SupabaseRuns the database, the sign-in system and file storage. Everything you enter is stored here.
  • CloudflareServes the site and runs the scheduled job that sends alerts. Sees requests to the app, and receives forwarded mail if you use a forwarding address.
  • ResendDelivers the reminder emails. Receives your email address and the contents of the reminder being sent.
  • Telegramonly if you turn it onDelivers reminders as chat messages instead of, or as well as, email.
  • Googleonly if you turn it onOnly if you choose to sign in with Google, which tells Google you use this app.
  • DVSA (gov.uk)only if you turn it onLooks up a real MOT expiry date from a registration number. Not switched on yet.

Why it is allowed

Under UK GDPR the basis is performance of a contract — you asked to be reminded, and reminding you requires storing what to remind you about and when. Optional integrations (forwarding address, Telegram, vehicle lookup) rest on consent, which is why each is off until you switch it on, and each can be switched off again without affecting the rest.

How long

Until you delete it. Deleting a reminder deletes its notes, checklist, alerts and cost history with it. Deleting your account removes every row and every uploaded file immediately — not after a grace period, and not as a flag on a row that stays. You do not have to ask anyone to do it for you.

Your rights

You have the right to see your data, correct it, take it elsewhere, and have it erased. Two of those are buttons rather than requests:

  • See and take it — Settings exports everything as JSON, including notes, costs and history.
  • Erase it — Settings deletes the account and everything in it.
  • Correct it — every field is editable.

If you think this is being handled badly you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, and you do not have to raise it here first.

The forwarding address

If you create one, mail sent to it is read to pull out the renewal date, provider, policy number and amount, and is then discarded — the message body is not kept. The address is a credential: anyone who has it can add reminders to your account, so treat it like a password. You can replace or switch it off at any time, and it is deliberately excluded from the data export so a shared export cannot leak it.
